THE OWLS - RAINY DAY

[ THE OWLS - RAINY DAY ]

Off the back of Jesus Let Me Fly, the latest single from the Newcastle-bred indie rock band, The Owls have announced the Rainy Day EP and a tour of Australia’s east coast to match!

Rainy Day marks the end of an epoch for The Owls, reflecting on times of emotional fluctuation and vulnerability that stems from relationships. The EP examines the mindset of isolation resulting from being left along with your own thoughts in dark periods. The five tracks are woven together through motifs of depression and anxiety, each song highlighting and exploring a different face to their story.

Rainy Day is out August 11.

As part of their EP tour, The Owls will be headlining the Sailor Jerry Origins of Original run of shows. The travelling exhibition details the life and works of Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins, the iconic American tattoo artist. The events will be a cultural celebration of music, local tattoo artists and an exhibition of Norman Collins’ original artworks at each stop.
